Welcome to My Personal Page
I'm Jason Chen, a passionate Data Science Researcher with a strong foundation in Financial Technology and Data Science. Currently pursuing my M.Sc. in Financial Technology at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, I hold a B.Sc. in Data Science and Big Data Technology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. I am currently seeking internship opportunities in Data Science, Data Analysis, or related fields in Singapore to further apply my skills and contribute to impactful projects.
I have gained invaluable experience through various internships, where I have honed my skills in Data Analysis, Machine Learning, and Quantitative Research. Some highlights include:
Tencent Holdings (2024): As a Data Scientist Intern at IEG - Start Cloud Game
Tencent Holdings (2023-2024): As a Global Public Relations Intern at IEG - Global
FireStone (2023): As a Data Analyst Intern at Industry Research Department
WeShare (2022): As a Quantitative Engineer Intern at CTO Assistant Department
My research endeavors have led to the development of innovative models, such as a GNN-GLU model for multivariate time series forecasting and an NBA player rating model using XGBoost. These projects have deepened my understanding of machine learning and statistical modeling, enabling me to contribute to both academic and industry-focused work.
When I'm not immersed in data and code, I enjoy staying active with Marathon running, Basketball, CrossFit, and playing the Piano. I also have a keen interest in Comedy and FPS games.
I'm always open to connecting with like-minded professionals and exploring new opportunities. Whether you're interested in discussing data science, collaborating on a project, or just sharing insights, feel free to reach out to me at YCHEN148@e.ntu.edu.sg.
